Good morning everyone, this Friday (17th January) we will be having a coffee morning from 9–10.30 at the school in the main hall. Tea, coffee, bacon rolls and some other biscuits/ pastries will be available to purchase.
It will be hosted by the PTA and everything raised will go into the PTA funds. Everyone welcome to pop in after drop off and have a brew, we look forward to seeing you. 🙂

We have a fantastic upcoming Comedy Night coming up, in conjunction with the ‘Off The Rails Comedy Club’ at The Royal George in greenfield. Please save the date: 8th February 2020 in your calendars, and we hope that will give you enough time to book in your babysitters!

We will update you on the comedians that will be performing on the night, along with any other details including prices/times etc.

Christmas Party 2019
Hello again everyone, Christmas is nearly here – (that means lots of mulled wine obviously…) and also our annual Christmas party is here again! Please save the date : Sunday 15th December 2–4pm.

Thank you to all who came to our 80s disco, and also to all the wonderful volunteers. Everyone had a fantastic time, and all the fancy dress was just brilliant! We also managed to quaff practically ALL the alcohol !

The live band were an amazing success, and even complimented everyone for dancing all night:). It is lovely to get all the parents together, as we all deserve a night off… a quick note to say that from now on, we will be primarily using Eventbrite to pay for event tickets instead of paying cash to us in the playground, we have decided this is a much easier way to book and pay for events going forward.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who came to the annual spooky disco, we hope you all had a great time, and the children had lots of spooky fun!

This year we all raised around £1550, which is £600 more than we raised at the disco last year! We will be posting a more exact figure to add to the totaliser very soon for your reference, so watch this space.

Once again, thank you to all the children, parents and helpers of this years disco, we hope to see you all again next year for more scary fundraising disco fun!

Trim trail update:
We have received three designs from three different suppliers. Due to the slope on the proposed site, there will be some additional preparatory work required to make this ground suitable for the Trim Trail. There are some questions arising about the new Trim Trail design which as a PTA team alone, we cannot decide and we need some input from the school before we can proceed much further. At the start of the next term, we hope to provide a design to school and for them to review this alongside the school council to get the children’s input. On the back of this, a design will be finalised and an order placed. We still believe a target of beginning work in the first term after Christmas is realistic.
