After discussing with the school and seeking some guidance from Oldham Council about hosting an event (since it would be on their school premises), the Greenfield PTA decided against hosting a large scale Christmas Fair or equivalent this term.
There was enough uncertainty to make the planning more difficult and this was only compounded by the news from the UK government earlier this week. Therefore, we will instead be doing a couple of Christmas themed events (The Great Greenfield Naughty Elf Hunt and a Christmas Challenge for the children) which can be done within the family unit and avoids the need for mass social gatherings. There are also a couple of surprises for the children in the next couple of weeks, but we won’t see anything further about that on here, and that is for the children to find out shortly.
